Two years ago, we launched the “Introduction to Security” class as a Massive Open Online Course with one ambitious goal: to make high-quality, hands-on cybersecurity education free and accessible worldwide. The response has been really beyond anything we imagined.
Since launch:
✅ 2348 students from 103 countries enrolled
✅ 353 students completed the course and earned their certificates
While the MOOC is only 2-years-old, the course itself has been taught at the Czech Technical University in Prague since 2017, refined semester after semester into what it is today.
What to expect? Definitely not a traditional lecture! Over 14 weeks of hands-on learning, you attack and defend real systems in your own cyber range, going from security fundamentals to advanced intrusions, with live classes every Thursday.
The online MOOC can be taken completely free: live classes, recordings, the cyber range, and a Certificate of Completion from the Stratosphere Laboratory.
If you want an official EU-recognized certificate, 1:1 mentoring sessions with the teachers, and a managed cloud environment, there's a paid professional tier for you.
